It's been three weeks, and Andrew's approach to working with me is everything I hoped I would receive from a member of your staff. He's kind, thoughtful, and most importantly and above all, genuinely empathetic. He takes the time to fully understand, and given my mixed experiences in the past, I've been lucky to have found Andrew in his little corner of the world. I'm so grateful, and honestly, indebted to him for his empathy and compassion.

I'm so happy you're here and so happy that you're taking an important step towards positive change in your life. Nothing brings me more joy than to be able to be a part of your journey while we work towards your goals. I've been partnering with adults for the past 8 years in private practice as a licensed therapist and 3 years as a life coach working with college-aged adults. Former and current clients appreciate my honest straightforward approach to counseling as well as my ability to patiently and compassionately hold space for answers to emerge.

The struggles of life are not meant to be all-consuming or overwhelming and as self-sufficient as most of us are, we all need help at some point. I know I've benefitted from being able to talk through my worries and concerns with the help of a trained therapist and know what the experience is like in either seat. I was trained in pastoral counseling and at Loyola University in Chicago and can assist if your concerns are more spiritual in nature and when they are not take a more traditional approach. I draw from relational schools of thought- psychodynamic, humanistic and Adlerian but apply them in a straightforward pragmatic fashion to keep the process brief and effective.

Having been trained and educated in diverse settings, I have experience working with many different types of people with many different concerns. In particular, spiritual and religious questions, LGBT issues, anxiety and coping with grief and loss are areas that I can support you the most. I look forward to working with you as we take the next steps in your journey together.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I had Andrew as therapist for more than five months and I would like to make an assessment of his work. He has helped me a lot on a grand variety of topics. So many that it would be too long to name them all individually! He is a competent, intelligent and kind therapist who easily understands what is being exposed to him (almost read my mind like a psychic!). Many of our sessions have allowed me to see things differently in difficult life situations and readjust my strategies for more fulfillment and well-being. Highly recommended professional.
