I believe each one of us has struggles, that we need assistance from time to time, and that it takes real courage to reach out and ask for it. I see my role as assisting you to discover your own answers, not to adopt my way of thinking. If you feel lost, stuck, or confused, I am confident that I can help. Take care!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Reviewed March 2021

I’ve worked with Amie a little less than a year now. I’ve been in and out of therapy pretty much my whole life, and the style of therapy Amie utilizes is both completely new to me, and also, works! It takes awhile to develop, but Amie is patient in working alongside me to create a safe and understanding place to explore feelings that I’ve spent years trying to access or heal. She responds in a timely manner, utilizes a variety of communication styles, and is always willing to meet me where I am. It can be hit or miss finding a therapist that fits your needs and what you’re looking for, and I am genuinely so glad that we were able to connect through BetterHelp.

Amy was the first counselor I matched with and I genuinely couldn't be happier with this. Her straight forward honesty, matched with her kindness and understanding are more than what I expect from a counselor. Her methods have already helped me so much, and her range of knowledge is truly impressive. I have a LOT of problems to sort through and she is helping me with all of it, step by step. I can't reccomend her enough.

Reviewed January 2021

Amie is a very positive and uplifting counselor, whom I upmost respect. I always appreciate her for acknowledging my emotions and helping me control of my life again. She always makes the time for me and my crazy schedule and very understanding. Amie never cancels on me which is much appreciated considering In person counseling in my past I not only got canceled on multiple times but during appointments I was so rushed. Amie is much different and I feel safe, not rushed, open, honest and so much more with her. I have recommended better help to all of my co workers and family. Amie had helped get myself back at the convenience of my schedule without having to take the time to drive to an appointment. Highly recommend Amie and BetterHelp.

She is absolutely amazing. She always responds to me in a timely manner, and she’s always super helpful when she does. She is very adamant about not judging me, and talks me through each path I can take moving forward. She’s very gentle, but in a firm way (think Mary Poppins but as a counselor). She’s been instrumental in my healing process.
