Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She is great!
Dr. Collins is a great listener and has given me actionable strategies for managing my anxiety. These are tools that I didn’t know about before talking to her, so I’m very grateful for her insights.
Excited to grow and see more!
Dr. Williamson Collin’s is easy to talk to, warm, and professional. I have very much enjoyed working with her so far.
I appreciate someone who I feel can relate the type of pain I’m working through. I am so grateful to feel understood. It’s a very good feeling to be able to speak honestly and openly to someone that has experienced similar life experiences and how gay fact provides me with so much more assurance that the advice I’m being given is coming from a place of “been there done that” so to speak. I’ve been challenged in the past with feeling confident in therapy due to the fact that I felt I could not relate to my therapist I would be very guarded and sometimes not comfortable enough to share my true feelings.
Dr. Collins was a good person to talk to and on more than one occasion I felt the weight lift off my shoulders after talking to her. I had explored another counselor before and I didn't feel too heard... just parroted =/
With only two talking sessions I feel comfortable talking and listen to Dr Collins. She’s patient and just a blessing to talk to, I feel safe to tell her what’s actually on my mind and know I’ll get an honest neutral response that’s is carefully thought through.
Dr. Williamson Collins is incredible. She is a great listener but also provide wonderful feedback and help. I could not be more satisfied and grateful to e-meet her. I would recommend her 200%. Thank you!!!
I absolutely love my time with Dr. Williamson. When I was matched with her, it was a bit of full circle moment because we share the same hometown and she grew up in the same area as my mother. I love that she checks in with me during the week outside of scheduled appt times to express genuine concern. She always has the perfect insight and is a great, empathetic listener. Whether it’s via chat or phone call, we always touch base on the topics I want to tackle. She really helped me process and begin the process of overcoming trauma and anxiety. More importantly, she effortlessly lightens the mood and makes me laugh when she shares stories about her own trials and tribulations and overcoming them. I would definitely recommend her to everyone, especially (Black) women.
Dr. Williamson Collins has been nothing short of amazing. She has always been extremely supportive and understanding. I honestly could not have asked for a better person to express how I'm feeling too. I feel very lucky and grateful.
Dr. Collins was an incredible counselor - understanding, open, and extremely honest. She really helped me out!.
I can't say enough good things about Sheila. She is kind, sensible, diligent, remarkably well qualified and has a knack for getting to the root of the issue.
She really has such a beautiful insight on things. She makes me feel like I can accomplish anything even when I feel down. I highly recommend her.
Best counselor I've had thus far. Can understand me easily. He personal accounts help me not to feel so alone.
Dr. Collins is the type of counselor I was looking for. She is knowledgable and actually offered actionable steps for me and didn't just regurgitate what I was expressing. I wish we'd have more time to go a little deeper in fact, but she was always able to respond to any messages I sent out of our session.
I was glad that we had some things that we could relate on. She is very kind and really helped me see things from a different perspective.
Dr. Willoamson Collins is very quick to respond to any messages that I send. She is very good at checking in on me as well!

I have enjoyed the talks and messaging back and forth with Dr. Williamson Collins. She always responds in a timely manner. I love the fact that she sincerely wants to help me go through the struggles I am having now, and my issues from my past. Dr. a Williamson Collins is truly dedicated to helping those in need. I had to cancel a video session on very short notice and felt absolutely horrible for wasting her time that could have been helpful to others. I say that, but I have no doubt in my mind that did exactly that. I can not imagine her wasting any time. She was so understanding and comforting when I apologized. I felt very at ease with her. I have received informational readings, and also worksheets to complete after reading. I would highly recommend anyone who is struggling through lives difficult moments to look her up.
Dr. Williamson Collins is phenomenal. She is very attentive and gave an exact response to all of my concerns. She offered many tools to assist me in handling my issues. I couldn't recommend her enough!
