Hi there! Whether something distressing has recently happened in your life, or you are struggling with a more chronic and ongoing issue, I am here to support you. I have been an outpatient therapist for over 12 years, and I absolutely love what I do. Below is a little bit about me, and I how I can help you.
My name is Jane and I earned my Masters in Social Work from Boston College in 2012. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families. I have also run therapy groups, provided psychiatric evaluations for those in crisis, held my own private practice, and have been a clinical supervisor at a community mental health clinic. I have treated individuals with a wide range of struggles, but I am most commonly referred clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, family conflicts or stressful life changes.
I have been told I am down-to-earth, very understanding, and completely non-judgmental. Please do not feel as though there is something you cannot bring up with me for fear of judgement. I don't think there is anything you can throw my way that would scare me away. I understand that with life comes tough times, and one should never have to plow though the difficult parts alone. I can be available to talk through any stressors you are going through and offer unbiased insight, or, I can certainly just be an ear for you to vent to. I like to offer my "toolkit" of skills that individuals can turn to when they just can't manage their emotions healthily.
I'm so glad you reached out because asking for help is never easy. I would love to be given the opportunity to hear your story and help you get to a better emotional space. I sincerely hope to hear from you! Warmly, Jane

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I have been working with Jane for two weeks now and feel fully supported and confident in my progress. She is very attentive to details.
Jane is great. Easy to talk you. She's sincere and attentive to my goals and needs.
Jane is AMAZING! My first try with BetterHelp gave me Jane and I wouldn't want anyone else to help me out. Jane has helped me through COVID, losing my job, and dealing with anxiety. She has helped me cope, made me feel "normal", and helped me see the bigger picture and what to be grateful for. :)
Jane has been an amazing support and encouragement to me. She is consistent, caring, and not afraid to share personal details to help build our connection. I think she’s hit the perfect note between casual and challenging to keep me engaged and questioning my beliefs. I really believe in her and I know she believes in me too.
