I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Dallas is the most helpful counselor I’ve ever had. We usually start off with a review of my week, describe some points of frustration as well as what I’m proud of myself for.. maybe check in on updates on the topics from last session, but sometimes I don’t want to talk about them because it’s too overwhelming and he’s supportive of those choices as I make them for my mental health. I appreciate that he respects those boundaries because I’ve had counselors who push too much. Then we discuss what I would like to see happen with the situation/problem/task I need to complete. Or sometimes If it’s a really hard day I just need my feelings to be validated and someone to be present and gentle with my feelings and he’s really good at that kind of support as well. At the end of our session we choose an attainable goal for the week, so I have something to focus on for my progress.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Dallas is the best counselor I’ve ever worked with. Every session is worth showing up to, (even when I’m falling apart too much for a video call & we use the app messaging instead). He is very outwardly sensitive, validating, and offers unique perspectives and pearls of wisdom. He describes helpful concepts in an accessible way. I always feel better after talking to Dallas, even on my worst days.
I really enjoying talking with Dallas. He's very observant and has a great understanding of what im trying to say even when it may not be clear. He responds in a timely manner and encourages me to express my feelings, which lets me know that's he listening. I look forward to continue working with Dallas!
