More about Pam

  • 25 years' experience

  • LMHC

I am a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana and Florida with more than 2 decades of experience treating and supporting youth, adults and families. In my work I have helped individuals and families identify and address the issues that are causing them distress. These range from depression and anxiety to physical and sexual abuse. I have worked with those struggling with addiction and have provided support for those who love individuals with addictions.

It is my belief is that it is within a warm, trusting relationship that individuals are most likely to be able to understand and develop a plan for changing their lives. I believe it takes courage to reach out for support and that my role is to partner with you to achieve your goals. To that end my approach pulls from person-centered and cognitive behavioral practices to support your progress. Together we will work to establish a treatment plan with goals and action steps to move you forward.

I would be honored to partner with you if you are ready to begin the journey. I look forward to working with you,

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I have been working with Pam for the last three years. I was in a very bad place when I started. My issue was a very complicated one with an entanglement of anxiety, depression, anger, and trauma. Pam got right to the central point of my burden and healed me from the first day. You can count on Pam to be always on your side, accepting you as who you are. What she does is to stop hating yourself and gain self love and self respect. Through Pam’s gentle guidance, I have resolved a thorny relationship between me and my parents, overcome trauma and depression. Now I feel like absolutely new person as if I have taken off sunglasses and seeing the sun for the first time. I’m so content and happy that I don’t regret the past nor afraid of the future. I’m healthy and productive, I have better relationships, and most of all, love being myself which wasn’t the case for a long time. This is all thanks to Pam! She is witty, warm, positive, perceptive, insightful, and most importantly, kind. She is a truly amazing therapist and a person and I can’t thank nor recommend her enough. Thank you so much, Pam!
