I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working for years in intensive outpatient therapy facilities and impatient hospital facilities to get the best knowledge I can to assist my clients. I received a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nicholls State University in 2018. Therapy is a relationship built on a foundation of trust. The goals of therapy are established in collaboration as a team with the overall objective being the successful resolution of the problems that are deemed the most important by the client. The length of counseling varies from person to person. As long as you are benefiting from counseling, I encourage you to continue attending sessions; however, I will let you know when I no longer feel that you need therapy.

I have experience in treating children and adolescents, who have experienced trauma and abuse, engage in self-harming behavior, and impulse control issues. If I think your issues are in an area that I do not feel qualified to treat, I will discuss this with you and attempt to refer you to a professional who is better qualified to work with you.

Adam has been wonderful to work with. Has been incredibly attentive, and always makes sure we're on the same page. Through his guidance i've started taking the steps I need to in order to reach my peak mental health. He's very personable, and easy to talk with. Would certainly recommend.
I am so thankful to be working with Adam. He listens so well and affirms me as a person. He shares new perspectives and insights I have been able to use everyday to overcome obstacles I am dealing with. He is kind and compassionate making it very easy to open up about vulnerable subjects.
I love that he has ADHD and understands some of the struggles I face. It seems like he really understands my way of thinking and feeling.
I have had counselors before both on better help and in person through work and Adam, by far, is the best counselor I have ever talked with. I feel like he actually listens to what is going on, he asks questions to help you navigate your thoughts, you can just tell that he is listening and wants to help you.
