Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I cannot say enough good and positive things about my therapist, Cheryl Nelson. God knows who we need, what we need and when we need it. I thank God for bringing her in my path. She has incredible wisdom. That’s because she has a relationship with God. If you want the truth then Cheryl is your person but if you’re not quite ready for the truth Cheryl is still your person. Nothing happens by coincidence. Even you reading this review.
Cheryl is truly a gem
A therapist who has stuck with me through thick and thin. She always actively listens to me and offers helpful solutions with a different perspective.
Cheryl has been a true blessing in my life. She reminds me of my Momma, may she rest in peace. She listens well, offers encouragement but foremost she prays with and for me. I lost my Momma long before she left this earth in June of this year. My mother was a God-fearing woman and an intercessor in prayer. When I couldn’t pray for myself, I was thankful my Momma was praying for me. I thank God for Cheryl because when I can’t pray for myself because I’m going through something the Holy Spirit puts me on her mind. I have confidence that she’s interceding on my behalf to our Heaven Father. That’s the kind of therapy I need most. I’ve grown so much as a woman, mother, teacher and now a wife since I began therapy with Cheryl. I thank God for her. I don’t have to see her all the time. That’s how much I’ve grown. I check in with her because I want her to see that God is hearing and answering her prayers for me and I’m not ready to cutoff my sounding board either. We all need one!
She is the best therapist I’ve matched with so far. She is a great listener and gives me many options and exercises to help me. I also appreciate how she sends me affirmations when I need them, but also understands when I am in need for some space. Cannot recommend her enough.
I love my therapist, Cheryl. I appreciate how she listens and gives me a different perspective. I appreciate the no judgement free zone. I would strongly recommend her to others.
Cheryl is very easy to talk to , she gives a clear perspective for each problem . I was not sure able what help looked like until I spoke with Cheryl. I feel like I'm in a safe space to share my grief and my varied emotions. I would highly recommend Cheryl to anyone needing a kind ear.
I love her.

I have been seeing this beautiful soul over a year. She's warm and inviting AND always present when I need a listening ear. I can not seeing myself stopping therapy again. Years of trauma is healing.

Dr. Nelson is incredibly uplifting and intuitive and is in the process of helping me find the tools to change my life for the better. I cannot thank her enough or recommend her enough! Cheryl’s knowledge and expertise shows in the way she responds to my concerns. She has provided a safe place to share my vulnerabilities without judgment and is helping me heal and grow. I know this all takes time and effort on my part, however, I also understand that a big part of it has to do with the right counseling for my situation and Cheryl continues to give me the guidance and support I need.
