I love Charles. I was skeptical about online therapy at first and a little guarded. Within a few sessions, Charles was getting me to open up without even realizing it. He has decades of experience in this field and others. He has gone through absolute devastation and heartbreak in his own life so he operates with a compassion and insight that only one who has gone through such hardship can. He urges his patients to focus on the beautiful and good things in life and breathe out the bad. I have been going to therapy on and off for 15 years and have never been taught any techniques that can help in moments of stress until Charles. He holds me accountable and reminds me to use them. In the few short months I have worked with Charles, he has provided insight that I have never heard and has been a catalyst for my own insights about myself. Thank you Charles, I am very grateful we were matched up.

Hello.
My name is Charles.
I know it takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards sharing your goals with a person you feel trust with. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience working as an individual, couple and family therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including trauma or emotional abuse, stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adolescent issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and other presentations. I also have seen many first responders such as police, fire fighters, EMT, nurses and others who have experienced or was witness to physical trauma or emotional abuses.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating all with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in diagnostic/stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive processing, and motivational counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Charles is the best therapist that I've ever met (ok, he's the first one for me). He taught me how to cope with my anxiety and was patient during our session together. He'll actively listen and help you look at things from a different perspective. I'll be back to book more sessions with him as different events in my life occurs.
Charles cares.
Charles was super nice and very easy to talk to! He really helped me get over some harassment issues I had dealt with at work and taught me how to reduce/deal with my anxiety in stressful situations. He really listens to what you have to say and is very respectful. Often went over time to finish the current point or to make sure to finish at a good spot.
Charles’s ability to help me to develop healthy boundaries and be more assertive has been great. He has helped me to talk through any previous traumas that I’ve faced. Charles has great communication skills, and patience. I was able to trust him from our first session. He is by far the best therapist I’ve spoken to, and I highly recommend!
Charles Weinberg was a great therapist to me. He was able to analyze my issues and push me in the right direction. With his techniques, reassurance, and knowledge when it comes to Panic Attacks; I was able to understand what happened. I recommend him to anyone who's had suffered from trauma in the past. I am doing a lot better from my first session. I saw my growth and I’m happy where I am in life. I can move on, and it’s all thanks to him.
This sensitive, empathetic partner is the only therapist I have encountered in 30 years who does not pathologize me or my suffering. Charles works hard to build rapport and trust before asking me to divulge or become vulnerable, which means client safety is important to him. He is also extremely intelligent and observant and began offering unexpected and accurate insights within the first ten minutes of my first session. He is humble yet expert, a leader yet not a forcer, and goes with me gently and with strength and empathy into the very very dark night.
I enjoy Charles's demeanor and attitude when it comes to his practice as he is very calm and inquisitive throughout our sessions. His style emphasizes on breathing exercises and mindfulness as tools to help us (his patients) to better cope and ground ourselves in our everyday lives. His delivery of this approach is complemented with his life experience and diffusing situations with humor. Sessions with Charles felt more like catching up with a mentor rather than feeling like a patient. Time seems to fly by working with Charles. Walking away from our sessions together, I've learned how to confront and take accountability of the things I need to handle in my life. Charles is a good navigator to assist someone to connect the dots together. It's a process, a challenging one at times, but I feel its a necessary component when going into therapy. It takes time to uncover and learn/unlearn things in order for us to grow and I feel Charles has had my back throughout his practice. I deeply appreciate the time I've spent working with Charles and would refer him to a friend in need of his service.
