Dr. Anderson is the best counselor I’ve ever had. She supports and encourages me when I need it, but also calls me out when I am falling into bad patterns of behavior or of thinking. She listens intently and doesn’t force resolutions or force discussion on topics I’m not in the mood to talk about. She also doesn’t mind if I jump around or quickly switch topics or priorities. She has helped me to set manageable goals and expectations without ever making me feel like I’ve failed if I don’t meet the goals I set in prior sessions.
