David is a great listener, and is really great at pinpointing all the base-level, primordial stuff going on in my head that I could never uncover on my own. His guidance and counseling helped me get through a really stressful time in life, and as a result I've now got a much healthier relationship with myself.

I have been practicing for over twelve years. I have a Master of Science in Counseling and a Masters of Arts in Anthropology, which I find helpful in many cases. I enjoy working with families and couples. I am veteran myself and have worked extensively with PTSD, caused by military and other events. I started working in a residential facility as an addiction therapist which almost always included work in the various co-morbidities. I have been doing general mental health for approximately eight years working with the Veterans Administration. As a result of the aforementioned work experiences I have a strong background in addiction, trauma work, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral, cognitive Processing, and Dialectic Behavioral therapies. I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
