I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have been working in the field of helping people through counseling for over 15 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addictions, and relationship problems among other.
My counseling approach is client centered and I view counseling as a collaborative process. I concentrate on developing a therapeutic relationship and cultivating a safe environment where clients can share freely. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. Developing resiliency, and transferring coping skills from therapy to the outside world are also things I strive for. My approach to therapy combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfullness, and Rogerian. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.
It takes courage to reach out and seek counseling.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

George is a good therapist for what I need. I needed to talk through some things and I’ve come largely my own conclusions and insights. He has been a good supporting ear throughout this process.

George is a great listener and communicator and is doing a great job
George is being very compassionate and supportive in a period of time that is very challenging for me. He is listening and helps me clarify my thoughts and process my emotions. He has helped me find creative ways to keep myself on track when everything around me is falling and helps me stay calm and dismantle negative thoughts.
I’ve always been very hesitant to give therapy a fair chance. I had a bad experience as a child with a therapist that made all of my problems worsen. But Mr Dymiotis is working really hard to make me feel comfortable. That means a lot to me.
George has been an incredible therapist. The best I have ever had. He helped me achieve things I never thought I was capable of achieving. He instilled confidence in me that has helped me in so many ways. He is a caring, insightful, thoughtful, and responsive. I am very grateful for him!
I believe George helped me the best he could. Better help does not provide reunification service.

George is the best therapist i've had. You can just tell he is a good person who truly wants the best
George is a fantastic therapist and a kind and compassionate person. He is an excellent listener and really helped me to address and overcome my problems with anxiety and depression. His friendly encouragement and wisdom helped me get by day-by-day and I owe a lot to his support.
I have had 2 session thus far with George Dymiotis. He listens, offers good advice, help me work through my next steps, asks questions for more information. I also have been journaling in BetterHelp. He will read my journals, and he sends thoughtful responses to what I write so I know he really does take the time. The journaling has helped me avoid lengthy sessions explaining details of my past, and allows me to focus more on what to do with the challenges I am experiencing. I would recommend George!
George has been really supportive in me, taking what i say into account and morphing the way he tackles issues depending on how i respond. He is open to criticism and discussion about what his patients think are best as well as his advice and makes it feel like a much safer environment for conversation and to be open in.
George is compassionate, patient, and genuine. While listening, he teaches you optimistic coping skills.
George has been a great help! Listens well, shares different ways of dealing/managing different issues, & super supportive! Responds in a timely manner & is willing to navigate through therapy over message, voice or video!

He makes me feel unconditional positive regard.
George helped me out a lot! During the pandemic, it gave me time to reflect on myself and with George’s help, it became so much easier than I anticipated.
George has been really helpful throughout our counseling sessions! He sent me worksheets and gave me tips on how to work on myself. Thank you so much, George!
George is a genuinely kind human being who wants the best for whomever he works with. He is a great listener and provides such a comfortable space for you to share and grow. He wants the best for everyone he works with. George will listen to you and understand you. He is supportive and encouraging. He’s what you want in a therapist.
From our first contact, George has been extremely kind and patient and understood my needs. I was looking for someone who would be understanding and open of less common spiritual beliefs, as well as LGBTQIA+ lifestyles, and he has been perfectly welcoming on both counts. I have always been stressed about getting therapy because I take a long time to warm up to someone and feel comfortable before talking about the more serious issues, and I didn't want to have to start bringing those up right away or feel like it was too late to talk about it further down the line. George understood this perfectly well, and has provided invaluable tools for me already without pushing me outside my safety zone. I appreciate everything I've learned from him so far, and I'm looking forward to our future sessions together!
My experience working with George has been great so far. He creates a safe and supportive environment for you to share your thoughts and feelings. I feel like he listens and actually tries to understand your issues and concerns. I have not worked with him for verg long but he has helped me so much, and I am already starting to feel better. I would recommend him to anyone who needs therapy.
George has been great! A patient listener who makes you feel safe and offers a lot of great probing questions to allow the things I need to say to come up in the session. He really is a great therapist.
George has been a great help! He really makes me feel like my concerns and emotions are valid, and he's a constant reminder that we all deserve to be kind to ourselves!
