Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the states of Tennessee, Rhode Island, Montana, DC, Mississippi, and New Jersey. I have almost 10 years of experience working as a social worker, half of those in a community mental health center. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, domestic violence, and substance abuse.
Prior to entering social work, I was teacher in a public elementary school and a librarian. I care and love helping people of all ages heal and progress, and accept each person's right to make their own decisions. My approaches are Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Talking to Jennifer is so refreshing and rewarding. She is very open and understanding of my feelings and gently offers suggestions and compliments my successes. I'm so glad that I found her.
Amazing and patient with me.
I always enjoy talking with Jennifer she is easy to talk to. I always feel better after my therapy sessions with her. I see myself making progress on things that I didn't think was possible and I'm very thankful for having her as my therapist and helping me to achieve that progress.
Jennifer Woodruff has been a blessing to me, just in our few short sessions. She listens well and give me multiple areas of opportunity to self discover. I have received ideas that assist me in redirecting my thoughts to more positive avenues of dealing with stress. I highly recommend Jennifer.
I have bern recommending #betterhelp to everyone. I've posted it on social media and privately recommended it to friends. Its the BEST selfcare gift I've EVER given myself.
Jenn has easily been the most caring and attentive therapist I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I began my work with her at a very difficult time in my life; but through her insights into my behavior and the tools she shared with me, I was able to face those challenges and drastically change my quality of life in a matter of months. I can’t recommend her enough as a therapist, and I’m incredibly grateful to have known and worked with her. Until we meet again, Jenn!
Even though Jennifer and I haven't had many sessions yet, I feel comfortable talking to her. I can sense she cares and really wants to help.
Unexplainably.. everything:)
I'm very pleased with Jennifer. I find that she is easy for me to talk to. I think she is kind and helpful . I feel really good after our sessions and look forward to the next one. I also like that she told me if something is to difficult for me to talk about that i could write it in a message .
Jennifer is excellent she is very thoughtful and encouraging. She listens well and asks follow up questions even inquiring about previous issues from the last session. I'm very pleased with her.
