Hi, I am a licensed therapist in Utah, Oregon, and New Mexico. I have over 15 years of experience, and I LOVE being a therapist! It's amazing to be a part of others changing and improving their lives.
Of course I work with a wide range of clients – depression, anxiety, addiction, and grief/loss are primary emphases. I also have extensive experience with relationship issues and parenting problems.
I focus on person-centered therapy – using unconditional positive regard, emotional support, and a variety of specialized therapeutic techniques.
I want to give you a place where you feel safe and understood, so we can focus on setting goals, improving, and healing.
I provide live CHAT sessions only - if you are looking for phone/video sessions, I am not the therapist for you. You can also send me messages as often as you want! I have session availability on Wednesdays and occasionally on Fridays.
If it seems like we'd be a good fit, send me a message and we can get started right away!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Wanted my drivers license for some reason and didn’t feel comfortable giving it
I’m having an excellent experience so far with Better Help and my therapist. Thank you!
Amanda is very personable and always knows the point I am trying to get across. She has been a great help and I am so appreciative of our sessions!
This has been my third week meeting with Amanda, and she is great. She helped me narrow down the cause of my initial concerns and desires to meet with a therapist, and we are working on understanding the cycle of anxiety, what it looks like in my life, and ways to overcome my anxiety. She is very thoughtful and kind, and I definitely recommend her to those looking to try therapy for the first time like me.
She is by far the best I've had ever. She challenges my thinking which is exactly what I need.
Amanda is very thoughtful and prompt. I recommend her to anyone needing a friendly ear!
Amanda is a professional and compassionate therapist, she validates my feelings and helps me better understand them from different perspectives. I really appreciate what she's helped me accomplish so far!
Amanda is not only incredibly professional but also very personable and easy to talk to. I have managed to overcome a lot of troubles and learn new skills with her help. A real blessing. 10/10
I’ve worked with a therapist before, but Amanda makes me feel heard and validated like no one else. She is helping me to navigate through some really difficult things, and she does so with empathy, positivity, and helps me find healthy ways to cope. In short, she’s incredible and I am so lucky to be working with her.
Amanda has been very helpful! She takes the time to understand where I’m coming from, and listens to me. She has been very supportive, and kind.
Amanda has been great in the short time I have met with her. She is very open and understanding, but also helps me expand my views and thought patterns.
Amanda has been extremely helpful and I am incredibly grateful for it. She has a real knack for asking questions that make you stop and think. It's been refreshing to have a counselor who challenges you (in a good way!) and helps you figure out what's going on inside your head.
Amanda has made me feel comfortable, heard, and seen as a queer person in our short time meeting, and I look forward to more sessions!
The few times I have talked to she has been very helpful. Thank you
Amanda works hard to ensure she understands my concerns. I feel she gives me the resources I need based on my comfort level, and she gives me as much time as I need to comprehend those resources. I let her know when I'm ready to move forward with discussion. I appreciate her thoughtfulness, attention, and understanding.
Amanda has been a great support and successfully helped me deal with a situation which I found emotionally difficult to come to terms with.
