Though still in the beginnings of my therapy journey, Dr. Hood has made a nearly immediate impact on my life. She takes the time to listen to concerns, strengths, and weaknesses and builds thought provoking/challenging conversations upon them. Dr. Hood provides insight and reassurance that gives me confidence in my abilities. Her style of therapy makes me feel like I am more than a diagnosis or list of symptoms, and that I am able to build skills to work through my struggles. Plus, she has a really cute dog that makes guest appearances through video chat.

She is phenomenal! We worked together for a year and she was always transparent and supportive. I feel comfortable after a year of successful sessions to have reached my therapy goals with her by my side! She gave me all the tools I need for my toolbox to help me troubleshoot areas that might be triggers in my path in the future. If I come across a time I may need to re-enter therapy, I plan to do with Dr. Hood! Thank you for everything!

Dr. Hood was compassionate and understanding. She never gave judgement for what I told her. I only used betterhelp to discuss my past relationship issues and work on emotional reactions to dating life and after a month I was feeling a lot better and able to understand my emotions better.
