Hi!
I'm Jack.
I am a licensed Psychotherapist in California with more than thirty-one years of clinical experience. I have been working as a licensed counselor since 1989. I have experience conducting individual, couples and group therapy, both in the office, in a medical setting, in the field, and hospital settings. I have been an instructor working at the Masters level at three Universities in the area. I work well with depression, anxiety, relationships, parenting issues, grief/loss, insomnia, addiction, trauma, physical/sexual/emotional abuse, OCD, bipolar, as well as personal growth, adjustment issues, and crisis.
I utilize techniques from person-centered, solution/goal focused, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I provide a judgment free, safe and supportive experience. This means that I attempt to join with you "where you are at". I believe that every behavior has a purpose and is an attempt to meet a need. It isn't until we discover what that need is and find a "healthier" or more "productive" way of meeting that need that the behavior no longer is necessary.
I look forward to working with you...

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
