Life is very stressful and the pandemic has taken a toll. I am here to walk with you on your journey. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 19 years of experience. I have worked with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. I am highly experienced in treating anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma, as well as parent education, family dynamics, and family dysfunction.

My therapy style comes from my desire to create an empathetic and warm, safe space to allow my clients to feel supported through whatever life throws their way. I utilize a client-centered approach and tailor my sessions to meet the individual goals of each client. I am an interactive therapist, meaning that I will provide feedback instead of "just listening." Many of my clients stay with me because they have had other therapists who "just sit and listen and are not helpful." I tend to utilize cognitive-behavior, insight oriented approaches to assist clients in achieving their goals.

I am happy to meet you and I look forward to joining together on this journey of better health!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
