Julie is incredible. She is thoughtful, honest, validating and friendly. She's like the one friend you can tell anything, except that you can tell her even the things you couldn't tell that friend, and you're not going to wear her out with your issues. I could't recommend Julie more.

I am glad you are here. A little bit about myself- I have 8 years of direct clinical experience with people with a variety of needs and from a variety of backgrounds. I received my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from University of Pennsylvania and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor through the state of Colorado. I am trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Through a person- centered, eclectic approach, I focus on building self efficacy with clients and providing skills to clients to implement as needed to ensure clients know they have the power to manage needs. These skills involve but are not limited to mindfulness skills, emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance skills, resource building and focus on identifying destructive thought patterns and reframing these thoughts. I have worked extensively with clients of all ages and with a variety of needs including but not limited to depression, anxiety, post partum needs, trauma, and managing emotional content through difficult life experiences. My goal is for you to be living your best life and knowing you have the skills and power to do this. I look forward to getting to know you and increasing your confidence and power. You have already taken the hardest step in reaching out so congratulations and I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Julie has an incredible wealth of expertise. Through our sessions with EMDR, we have been able to work through a lot of trauma and beliefs that had held me back since childhood. I enjoy having the flexibility of counseling online, with four kids and a busy home life it makes therapy and healing more accessible. I am so grateful for the work Julie and I have done so far.
