We were able to connect very quickly and found things in common. We had a lot to talk about and she has been an amazing listener and shared great resources to help me. I'm very excited for this virtual option to help me with my mental well being. Thanks so much for the great help.

Eileen has been instrumental in helping me turn my life around. I sought therapy after almost a decade of substance abuse and I would credit her with helping me stay sober. After getting my sobriety into maintenance, she helped me tackle other areas in my life that I wanted to improve. Eileen is easy to talk to and feels like a friend that has the tools to help you make incremental, yet substantial life changes. I highly recommend Eileen to anyone that hasn't had positive experiences with mental health professionals/therapists in the past and is looking to finally find support.

  • LMHC

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of clinical experience. I enjoy working with a variety of clients from all walks of life and have specialized training in perinatal mental health, trauma, substance abuse, and career counseling. I am an ALLY trained, culturally competent therapist, with years of experience in helping individuals from marginalized groups. I have extensive experience working with military service members and their families. I am passionate about helping individuals with performance/sports psychology issues, particularly athletes.

As a counselor, I enjoy meeting new people and motivating them towards positive change by helping them find and implement their own solutions. Professionally, I utilize cognitive analytic, solution-focused brief therapy approaches to help clients formulate and find success in their own goals. Trauma informed practices and motivational interviewing techniques are essential in this approach. I bring my own background of teaching and coaching into the clinical arena in helping individuals explore new alternatives and solutions that work for them individually, as I believe each person brings his or her own unique challenges and strengths into the therapy environment.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Eileen is a wonderful therapist! I feel lucky to have gotten paired with someone who has specific experience in my field, education. I signed up to cope with the stresses of teaching during Covid. I plan to stay on to work on other goals related to expanding my creative work and building skills in intimate relationships. I have worked with a number of therapists over the years and I respond well to Eileen’s professional yet warm style, concrete suggestions, and attentiveness to details.

Eileen is the best therapist I’ve ever had. She gently guides me, and lets me talk things out by asking thoughtful and thought-provoking questions. She is incredibly knowledgeable in her field, she also sends me additional information like books, worksheets, articles, so I can learn and grow emotional maturity. I feel completely comfortable with her, more so than any previous therapist, even in person. After how much I’ve developed working with Eileen, I’ve referred my family to BetterHelp because Eileen has been such a significant influence and a major help in my life.

She is extremely helpful with the issues I want help with and gives me good tools on how to approach dealing with them. She also give me more than one option so I can see what works best for me and I really appreciate that. I would 100% recommend Eileen to others looking into counseling.

Eileen has been the best thing that happened to me in the past year. After going through life changing traumatic events in the middle of a pandemic, I didn’t know what to do. I decided that I needed to have answers to questions that would come from a mental health professional. The minute I matched with Eileen I knew she was supportive, encouraging, open, and genuinely wanted to get to know me so she could help me learn about myself and make sense of how the events in my life have impacted my mental health. But more importantly to me, Eileen is honest and holds no qualms with calling me out when I revert to old habits. I definitely notice that while actively applying the resources, activities, and mindsets recommended by Eileen, I am walking through life with a more positive outlook. I feel better about the person I am, rather than believing I am the person everyone else thinks I am. Without Eileen, I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through this year.

Eileen is absolutely amazing! With her help I have been able to take some big steps to better my mental health in such a short time. She listens to what I have to say and challenges some of my thinking(in a good way!) which helps me to really walk through my thoughts and break them down to help understand them and make necessary changes. I feel extremely lucky to have been matched with her as my therapist.

Working with Eileen feels like confiding in a good friend - but one who is really realistic with wanting the best for you, she provides a safe and comfortable space, is compassionate and has good humor, while being very honest and helpful in guiding me to help understand and improve myself. She leads me to awesome resources and gives me great worksheets to use to help me get clear on my feelings and experiences and how I can live a healthy, meaningful, valuable, fulfilling life. She has helped me to grow so much over the past few months and I am excited to see how much more progress we can make together

Eileen is a great listener. She works with you to help you overcome your struggles, and tries to get to the root of what is bothering you. She also has a great arsenal of mental exercises to help you overcome negative thoughts. I am very glad I was paired with her, and want people to know that if you are struggling, Eileen has your back ^_^
