Ruby is an excellent counselor and I’m so grateful I was paired with her. I spent a very long time with Ruby as my therapist and can only say the best of things. She is knowledgeable, she is insightful, she is a great listener, she is genuine, and she is honest. In my time with her I felt heard and understood, and while I felt accepted I still felt guided and encouraged in my self-growth journey.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and have been providing both individual and couples counseling services for over 10 years. I received my Masters in Counseling Education from the University of Central Florida (CACREP Accredited) and have a certificate in Marriage and Family Counseling. I have a background working with a variety of issues but have specialized in working with clients with anxiety, depression, addiction, and relational issues. More specifically, I have experience working with clients with trauma, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship issues and those who are going through life changes. I also enjoy teaching life and coping skills, assertive communication, boundary setting, identifying core beliefs and doing relationship counseling.
Along with a base of person-centered therapy, while taking into account how society, culture, and family shape us, I may use cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy depending on what is a right fit for the client. I believe no two clients are ever alike and finding a rapport and trust with each client is a top priority.
I create a safe space for you to explore who you are, your experiences in life, and what you would like to become or experience by providing a non-judgmental, respectful, calm, stable, and positive atmosphere as your counselor. I will allow and guide you to be your authentic self.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me and most importantly, thank you for taking the first step! It can be difficult to take care of ourselves even when everything is going great, reaching out when things are hard is a big step.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I absolutely love and look forward to my sessions with Ruby. She truly listens to understand and helps support me in knowing I am not alone in my challenges. I deeply respect and appreciate our time and work together.
Ruby listens and is well versed in understanding my issues. The past few weeks have been me spilling my guts a lot but she is thorough and understanding!
Ruby is always kind and willing to listen. She checks in and offers many ways to respond to difficult situations. I’m happy I was paired up with her.
We've only had one solid chat session, and a few brief exchanges, but so far Ruby has been welcoming, patient and understanding. She's gone ahead and provided additional information and work, because at the end of the day it is still work for us to improve our mental health. As of now, I look forward to more sessions,
Ruby has been great so far. I’ve rambled all over the place, but she’s always able to hone in on the issue from it and is trying to help me work on ME.
Ruby is a wonderful counselor. She was there for me when I was in crisis, and she is a consistent and positive influence so far outside of crisis as well. She provides resources and asks me what I need to feel supported.
Ruby is insightful and easy to talk with. She seems to fully understand the topics we discuss and is helpful without even the slightest sense of admonition or, even worse, condescension. I appreciate her regular emails and weekly discussions.
She’s excellent. Great listener. Often she’s ask me how she can support me. Which I guess is a good way to see what I’m trying to achieve. Looking forward to the time when she understands most of who I am and offers advice based off that knowledge; which is something she’s already begun doing in our 2 weeks together.
Ruby is a keen listener, and she is very very smart. She also has a helpful talent of listening to all the stuff I share and reflecting it back to me in a summarized form that helps me know she is listening and keeps us on track. Ruby speaks her mind, in our sessions, and I appreciate that about her. Based on my experiences with her this far, I trust her to keep it real. and shoot straight with me. But she also demonstrates warmth, compassion and what feels like caring. I respect Ruby quite a bit, and I am grateful that she became part of my life story, in this way. She's a great therapist for me, and I recommend her.
Ruby makes me feel comfortable enough to let my guard down and really find out who I am. She has this great radiant vibe to her that always makes you feel welcomed. Extremely professional and friendly, I couldn't recommend and thank her enough for the passion and empathy she brings everyday.
Ruby has been immensely helpful in a very short time. She makes you feel comfortable from the first conversation. I highly recommend anyone struggling who needs open ears and an unbiased perspective to reach out to Ruby for help. Thank you Ruby!
Although I was initially skeptical about online mental health services, this site is the only way I have been able to successfully fit counseling into my busy schedule. Ruby has been a great resource for me, and I am so glad that I've been matched with her. She is a very good listener and provides a lot of insightful advice.
Ruby is very patient and really, truly listens. I was pretty skeptical about this whole thing in the beginning but since I’ve been communicating with Ruby I feel much more at ease and am very glad I gave it and her a chance.
She is quite helpful and creative.
