My name is Stacy Linn and I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have been working within the field of counseling since 2013 with a focus on substance use and mental health. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Masters Certified Addiction Professional, and International Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles ranging from therapist to clinical/program director, with an emphasis on client care, program content, and family communication. I have worked with a diverse array of client populations from adolescence to adults, including couples and family therapy.
My responsibility as a clinician is to help clients gain insight and promote change so that they can act on their own behalf and find peace within their lives and interpersonal relationships. It is my goal to help clients increase the quality of their lives in times of heightened stress and the need for personal growth by implementing consistent change in their thought process so that they can understand the impact of their cognitive processes, cultural impact, family dynamics, mental health, and underlying core beliefs so that clients can utilize their own power to change their perceptions, choices, and actions in events beyond their control.
Treatment modalities that I utilize are based on the individual needs of each person ranging from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Existential, Solution-Focused, and more. All of these modalities are individually tailored to address core issues ranging from emotion regulation, mental health, eating disorders/disordered eating, self-harm, generational/cultural trauma, sexuality, family dynamics, marital conflict, unresolved grief, lack of life skills / poor balance, compulsive behaviors, addiction, caregiver burnout, and suboptimal coping skills. These services are offered in an open, nonjudgmental setting provided both in person and via telemedicine to ensure a safe space is provided for clients to be able to be vulnerable and grow to provide optimal mental health.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
