Hello! My name is Adrienne Van Es and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over six years experience providing therapy services. I am a true Floridian born and raised and completed both my bachelors and masters degrees at the University of Central Florida. I enjoy working with all ages and specialize in helping those working through depression, stress and anxiety, trauma, adjusting to changes in life and ADHD.

My approach to therapy is based on meeting each individual client's needs. I believe in working with a client centered approach, understanding the client is the expert on their lives and applying a unique treatment plan to reach each of their goals. I help through psycho-education, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and various trauma therapies such as EMDR.

Taking the first step starting therapy can be scary. Even as a therapist, when I started looking for therapy for myself, I became shy, a little nervous and worried what I should or shouldn't say (even with knowing I hold no judgements or negative thoughts towards any client)! I personally know the courage it has taken to get this far and acknowledge the motivation to pursue self care for yourself. I would be honored to be a part of the process along with you. I encourage any and all questions, concerns and/or thoughts about myself, my practice and what I can do for you so please don't hesitate to be in touch!

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, adventure racing, creating music, anything involving the beach and/or ocean and spending time with friends, family and my dog.

She is wonderful! I feel so heard when speaking to her. She genuinely cares and makes sure to address things as I come up and help me with exactly where I’m at. I’ve never had therapy or really talked about mental health. I’ve only had a few sessions but Adrienne listens and tries to help to the best of her ability I’ve already recommended BetterHelp to one of my friends who is also struggling mentally because of Adrienne.
