Bobbie is a fantastic therapist and I cannot recommend her enough. When she gives you worksheets and handouts, take the time to do them thoughtfully and thoroughly. She chose them for a reason and you will get out of it 10x the effort you put in.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Taking a step with Better Health was the best gift I've given myself in 51 years. I was matched with Bobbie Shannon who I immediately connected with, felt safe with, and easily opened up to. She exudes gentleness, warmth, empathy and kindness. She really took the time to understand what I most need to heal in my life without judgement and much compassion. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed to ask for support but quickly realized with Bobby's support, and the resources she provided me, that I have made very normal choices in my life for a person who has lived through much trauma. Bobby helps me connect to the part of me that feels wounded, and give love to myself. I've learned skills I will use forever. I always look forward to my sessions with eagerness. Bobby is the very best I've ever worked with. So grateful.
