Rachel is very easy to talk to and extremely supportive and has helped me to understand things that, while I sort of already knew some of them, I didn't trust my own judgement on it and it's been very reassuring to hear her validate them.

More about Rachel

  • 10 years' experience
  • Female
  • LISW

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, in Cincinnati, OH with over 10 years of experience. I have had the opportunity to work with children and families involved in the child welfare system. These individuals have displayed a variety of struggles which include Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Substance Use Disorders and etc. These problems caused significant problems in their personal, social, and professional path. My vision is to help individuals and families establish trust to help reunite and keep families together.

My counseling style is warm, understanding and meeting individuals where they are at in their journey of life. It can be challenging for anyone to seek assistance or help. I want to provide a warm and inviting environment to normalize the experience for individuals or families. My therapeutic approach is to provide Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques which best cater to the individual or families needs. I believe not every individual responds to the same therapy techniques as we are all unique and different. I will implement approriate therapeutic approaches and treatment plans to help you get back on your road to success.

I look forward to working with you and thank you for allowing me to be apart of your healing journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
