Hello! I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia with 27 years experience and a certification in DBT. I have worked with a variety of age clients in many settings such as community clinics and forensic institutions. My passion is assisting those who have experienced or are experiencing issues such as childhood trauma, domestic violence, emotional, psychological, sexual and physical abuse. Additionally, I have experience working with issues including stress, depression and anxiety. You are embarking on a process that, at times, will seem very difficult. You will need someone to whom you can speak openly about your experiences, emotions and issues you may never have felt ready to deal with.
Therapy is you and I, working together in a safe and comfortable space to focus on your challenges. I am a confidential sounding board who is not easily shocked and very comfortable with listening about life's darker details.
I have a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Georgia College and State University, one of the top Liberal Arts Regional Universities in the South. My therapy style is client-centered and interactive. My approach is eclectic combining RET, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing and reality therapy. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.
I would be honored to work with you on your journey toward change. It takes courage to take those first steps. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

L. Lytle has greatly helped me. I have never moved ahead as far as I have with her. I’m very happy to have found her.
L. Lytle is the best therapist I’ve ever spoke with. I’ve made more progress with her than any other therapist I’ve ever seen. I trust her whole heartedly.
Helpful
5 stars all around. Really listens, follows up, and addresses issues straight on. A lot of insight
Thank you so much listening, guidance and how to approach working women with degrees. She provided a safe place for let all my emotions go.
L. Lytle is absolutely wonderful. She completely understands what I mean and helps in ways no one has been able to help before. I’d recommend her to everyone!
She's so understanding and tried her best to give you exactly what you need! Amazing!
This woman is amazing. She literally makes you think about everything and guides you in the most patient manner. She's kind, attentive, and really tries to understand you. This is the first time I feel SEEN.
I only had her for a few sessions, but it was overall a very pleasant and effective experience. Very understanding, but she will also be straight up with you which is extremely helpful. She helped me learn more about me so I can work on improving myself.
I've worked with different therapists in my life but L is by far the one with the most emotional intelligence and a deep understanding of the types of abuse that don't leave physical traces. It was so validating and a relief to speak with someone who understood so much after only hearing a little about my experience with a narcissist partner who was gaslighting me for nearly a decade. I'm extremely grateful to L for her advice and recommendations, and BetterHelp for providing access to someone I wouldn't have been able to meet otherwise.
I’ve never done therapy before, not that I can remember at least. I’ve been told many times in the past that I should have seen someone, spoken or at least listened to a person who wanted to help. I’ve been closed off about personal things most of my life, and it has always affected me deeply. After a culmination of events with my family, work and friends I ultimately knew I had to make a decision. My pursuit of self-help and healing took my on a process. There’s were many different services I tried, and eventually I landed on betterhelp. After multiple different therapists I chose to partner with Lynette. She convinced me to stick it out, and over the course of a few months I began to speak about all types of things, past and present. I truly have had my entire mentality altered, and feel a sense of course correction. I truly feel like I can start to be myself again and grow relationships as I should have my entire life. I am very thankful for the time I have spent with Lynette, and encourage anyone who is seeking help to speak to Lynette.
She’s been very helpful.
Lynnette did a very good job of making me feel comfortable. She also paid attention and held me accountable so that I could meet my personal goals!
It was amazing working with L. She is quickly able to understand the issues and reach the right place. My perspectives have shifted in just a few sessions. I look forward to working with her further
Lynette has really helped me step back into who I am. She is professional, personable and simply awesome at what she does. Thank you for all your help!
Dr. Lytle did a fantastic job of getting to the root of my issues and helping me through them! She was always respectful, considerate, and on time for our meetings. If you suffer from any problems with self-worth or depression, you would be lucky to have Dr. Lytle as your therapist to help you through those! Thanks again Dr. Lytle, you rock!
I deeply appreciate Lytle's expertise and compassion. She is knowledgeable about various subjects and has worked with me to develop solutions and coping skills that work with my brain's idiosyncrasies. Even if our session is just a progress check-up, I look forward to her encouragement every time.
L. was a huge help for me in helping manage my anxiety and some depressive episodes. She's caring, without judgement, and offered out great advice and thoughtfully challenged my views, which is exactly what I was looking for. I've had a few therapists before that largely nod along and not offer out feedback - but L. was both a great listener and vocal in helping me reframe my feelings. By far the best therapist I have had on Betterhelp. Thank you L!
Have only been in therapy for a few weeks, but it has already improved my mental health tremendously!!
She has helped me work through my childhood trauma more than any prior therapy I have been to.
She has helped me grow and understand things in such a short time. I have grown so much and have learned to respect myself and demand the respect I deserve from everyone while also working through all my trauma. I will forever be grateful for her.
Working with Lynette has been great so far! She does a great job listening and letting me express my feelings and concerns but also does a great job of giving her opinions and advice in a way that is gentle but much needed. I hope I continue to work with her!
I started seeing Lynette three months ago, during a period in my life when I was facing multiple challenges. I value her feedback and expertise. She is professional and approachable, and always provides considered responses to issues I discuss with her. She also provides timely responses when I reach out to her via the messaging feature of BetterHelp in between our regular sessions. I appreciate having Lynette as a sounding board and "calibrator" as I learn more about myself and how I interact with the world.
Wonderful therapist
I am so grateful for the opportunity to have her counsel. I truly learned so much, felt so valued, and understood. It was so comforting feeling like my therapist had an understanding of what I was going through and tools in her repertoire to help. Forever grateful.
Lynette is the best, even when I am crying and almost not making sense she can see my struggle and helps me understand what it is/how to move past it and to make informed decisions from what is actually going on in my life, not from some of the things I perceive are happening. I look forward to my calls each week with her as I feel more grounded having a safe space to work things out in my life with someone I can trust. I fully recommend her support to anyone looking for it!
L is seriously one of the best therapists out there. I tried a few different ones on this app before finding her and she is a gem. I explained what I needed from her as a therapist and she listened and acted accordingly. I feel like a lot of therapists listen, but don't really challenge you or offer advice. She holds me accountable when I'm avoiding things and offers advice when needed. Plus, she's just sweetness and light. She has a natural kindness that shows in every interaction.
Lyn is the best! Very grateful for her and helping me back into my routine of everyday life!
She is a great listener and allows you to talk and express your concerns through this process without interjecting unless needed. She offers advice at the right times while being concise and very insightful. This is my second therapist and I felt like she actually listened to my problems without judgement and guided me in processing a lot of my issues. I can tell she is very experienced in being perceptive to the clients needs at the moment and is able to cater to that ( great balance of insight but also no overbearing advice giving and analysis/theories). She keeps me accountable through small assignments and checks in if I actually followed through on the goals we set previously. I honestly appreciated that she didn’t have that overkill niceness often encountered in customer service that isn’t genuine.
