More about Debbie
- 20 years' experience
- Female
- LCMHC, LPC
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina.
I have worked with all ages and walks of life in my 20 plus years experience. As a seasoned therapist I believe that a successful outcome of therapy goals begins with a harmonious relationship with the client. This begins with a clear understanding of the needs and desires of the client. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy and Integrative therapy are used to reach the best desired outcome for the client.
My approach is to have a kind, caring and sensitive demeanor, yet direct and firm as needed to achieve success. I strive to listen well and give appropriate feedback.
I attribute my successful record as a therapist to having the education, knowledge, work experience, and confidence to work with each client, and consider it a privilege to work with each one.
I have gained volumes of wisdom through training and personal experiences in my life. My desire is to resolve emotional and behavioral problems and disturbances, and to help people to lead happier and more fulfilling lives.
I would be honored to work with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She listens and has helpful advice:
Debbie is caring, and always helpful.
Debbie is great, she's honest and very helpful. With years of experience, she knows just how to help you in most situations
Debbie is very kind, inquisitive and passionate about people. I appreciate her perspective on things I feel unsure about. It has felt very empowering to understand some of these emotions are acceptable and given the tools to promote self-advocacy. I welcome her voice and support even with more difficult subjects like medication, religion, and understanding the human experience is both happy and sad.
Debbie is the best she always check on me
Mrs. Esque was a good therapist. I recommend taking her services.
Debbie was instrumental in the improvement of my well-being from a low place in life. She is caring and made tremendous effort to understand me and my situation. She provided insights, direction, and encouragement which helped me see things from a different perspective. I felt willing to share openly and honestly because she is nonjudgmental and patient. During the sessions, she addressed concerns and struggles with empathy as well as meaningful Scriptures, practical advice and practices that helped improve my response to certain situations. Debbie provided a safe (virtual) space for me, and I am so thankful we were matched through the app!
Debbie is so kind and understanding. She will make you feel like you matter and feel supported.
