Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Emily really listens and I feel comfortable with her. She doesn't make you feel like you're a bad person for feeling the way you do and tries her best to help solve whatever problem you are having at the time. She also helps to make you look at things from a different perspective, which is really helpful. So glad I got her as a therapist!

Emily has been wonderful! After only 2 sessions, it already feels like I’ve been talking to her for years. She checks on me during the week as well, and in all the years of therapy I’ve had, no other therapist has done that for me.

I had to find Emily by reading over 70 bios. I had almost given up because the recommended ones kept ghosting me or were not at all a good fit. If someone wasn’t patient in looking for the wrong person they would easily give up if they had to go through 3 different therapists before finding the right one. Thank goodness for Emily because if she hadn’t been perfect i would have never stayed.

Emily is fantastic. I have made astronomical progress with her since starting with her & I genuinely recommend her to anyone who needs counseling, she’s changing my life!

Reviewed December 2021

After the third session I feel like I’m making progress, I look forward to the sessions to hear an unbiased opinion on what I’m going through and Emily offers that with empathy and support. She shares personal experiences to relate what you’re going through. That is comforting knowing she is coming from life experience to relate to my current situation and expertise in her field of work to help me through it.

Reviewed November 2021

Emily is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. She also provided many resources for me to help guide me and actually listens and gives good advice rather than just sit there doing nothing, like many therapists I've had in the past.

Emily is very respectful and listens to me, love her she is great. Much better then the last therapist I had. Thank you
