Finally considering therapy? Great! I have many years of experience as a trauma focused therapist. My client demographic is highly variable as I enjoy seeing all humans thrive and be able to experience peace and joy. I work with adults and children, individuals and couples, servicemembers and LGBTQAI. I am strengths-based with conscientious focus on religious trauma and sexual assault survivorship. I hold an M.Ed in Counseling and Human Services and am pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology.

I am a safe person to objectively hear your prior trauma and events for which you might carry guilt shame. It's time for you to let go and be free...the freedom to lead a reasonably happy life. (Note, I do not write letters for LOA)

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I can’t even start how Lori has changed my life. If I had to it would be because she listens and wants to help. And that’s the biggest thing for me, her wanting to help.

Lori has been a great ally during a very senstive time in my life. Really good listener, easy to trust and be open with, she's empathetic but no bulls**t which I value highly in a therapist. I feel really lucky to have been matched with Lori.

Lori is such a bright spirit. She is an uplifting therapist, someone to challenge you if you're open to it, and incredibly sweet. I have learned a lot of helpful tools from my sessions and I am very thankful for all of her time!

Lori Mcdunn is, hands-down, the most successful therapist that I've had. I've had over ten therapists over the past twenty years. Every other therapist has been a mandatory appointment alongside a psychiatrist OR a court-mandated therapist. Lori is, to be fair, the first therapist that I've sought out on my own (rather than being a requirement alongside a psychiatrist). Short review... Lori's good at handling my expectation and fear of rejection. She's not critical, but exploratory. Lori is excellent at being a confidant-type professional where I'm comfortable talking about my issues. Lori provides excellent interpretations, which give me a much better point of view than I would have on my own. Lori is also very good about reading messages, journal entries, and otherwise keeping up with me. This is the best therapist that I've ever had, and I've had over a dozen. Max stars.

This lady is great! I felt like I could be myself before I even knew who that was. I am so grateful to have met her and to have had her to turn to when my life was literally falling apart. I have done therapy in the past but never had I made this much progress in such a short amount of time. This lady is amazing at what she does. AMAZING!
