I am a social worker licensed in North Carolina with 10 years of experience working as an individual and family therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, marriage conflict, parenting problems, career challenges, mood disturbances, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My therapy style is warm, honest, and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, trauma focused, and solution focused. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Shauna is fantastic and the main reason why I am where I am. She supports me and listens to me and offers so many different ways of advice to help with my situations
She tells me what I need to hear even if it’s not what I want to hear. I feel I’ve grown so much personally since we started therapy and I’m excited and thankful for her help.
I think Shauna is compassionate in helping others and listens to each persons individual needs, which has been nice.
I was hesitant and not expecting much for therapy. I haven’t had great experiences with therapy but I would highly recommend Shauna. She is very caring, understanding, professional but not so professional you don’t feel comfortable. I would recommend her to others.
