Nancy is doing so well trying to help me feel better and love myself enough. Even though she doesn’t know me that well yet she is amazing at what she does

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in the state of Wyoming (LPC #432). I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA degree and obtained a master's degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. I have over 20 years of experience in private practice in the field of psychotherapy. Because I practice in rural Wyoming, I am a generalist in terms of the types of mental health issues I address and the demographics of my clients.
I am also a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (NBCC) and a Certified Meditation Instructor (AIHCP)>
I make it my practice to treat each client with "unconditional positive regard." Each of us has positive qualities and areas in which we can improve. I see mental health therapy as a collaboration between the client and myself.
My therapy style has also been tailored to the needs of a wide range of clients. The type of therapy provided is decided upon by mutual agreement between my client and me. Typically, more than one style of therapy is used throughout sessions. Cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, rational emotive therapy, and compassionate psychology therapy are primarily used.
Therapy is about understanding one's actions, learning new techniques and skills to develop improved communication and coping skills, and then putting those to use with the support, encouragement, and assistance of your therapist.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
