Karen is incredibly attentive to what I have to say. My favourite thing about her is that she doesn't sugar coat anything or use pacifying language, she calls it like she sees it, I need that. She knows I love animals and will show her dogs to me during our sessions and it is such a joy. If anyone needs someone to talk to that will give you real skills to work through your anxiety and distress, that is Karen. She is a wonderful support system and she is incredibly genuine.

More about Karen

  • 12 years' experience
  • Female
  • LCSW

I am licensed in Alaska and Idaho with over 10 years of professional clinical experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, coping with addictions, & trauma and abuse.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. Keep in mind, while I am empathetic, I am also direct and blunt as needed; and somewhat gentle as needed, I usually tell clients what they don't want to hear vs what they want to hear.
