Hello-
My name is Elizabeth Edouard and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I started my journey in the mental health field after completing my undergraduate studies and began working with elderly individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. As I began to better understand the human mind and the ways our environment, upbringing and support system affects our mental health, I developed a deep interest in furthering my studies.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice at Kean University in New Jersey. I went on to earn my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in Georgia. While in Graduate school I had the opportunity to intern in two vastly different environments. I worked with adolescent youth in a school setting as well as adults in a County jail. After graduating with my counseling degree, I worked in psychiatric hospitals, senior living communities, community mental health clinics and most recently providing crisis support to Veterans.
My services are geared towards adults age 18 and older of all backgrounds. My experience has given me the knowledge effectively support and guide those struggling with depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, and mood disorders. I would describe my approach as open minded, empathetic and goal oriented. I draw from a mixture of Cognitive Behavior therapy, Adlerian therapy and Psychodynamic therapy.
Thank you for taking the first steps towards creating a healthier you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She's good at what she does
Good at listening and giving effective advice. Also very nice and polite and caring.
Elizabeth is a great listener and very thoughtful when it comes to providing guidance. She is quite knowledgeable and does a great job of meeting you where you’re at when it come to your therapeutic journey. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
Elizabeth is awesome. She listens, and listens good, and then helps me talk things out. I literally feel I can tell her anything and be completely judgement free
Elizabeth made me feel comfortable enough to share with her my goals for therapy. She is giving me strategies and insight into ways I can achieve my goals. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Edouard.
THIS LADY ROCKS! I was not a believer in therapy when I started. Plenty ready to give it a go but not sure it would be for me. I’d been having marital issues and was trying to come to terms with how I wanted to proceed/how I had affected my situation. Elizabeth hit me with some knowledge right away. I left that first phone call day two on the therapy train feeling like a billion bucks. And when that feeling went away and I spiraled a bit with self doubt boom there she was again with insight and action. You will want to go door to door with pamphlets to let people know how good she is at her job.
Talking to Elizabeth made me feel better almost immediately. We’ve only been talking for a few weeks and I’m feeling much more at ease, and she’s given me new coping skills that have been working very well for me.
