Counseling provides a safe space for you to explore and address your life at your pace. Success depends on having a good rapport with a counselor you trust, and I would like to provide that for you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New Mexico, and have provided counseling services for 11 years in agencies primarily serving clients of domestic violence and sexual assault. Therapeutic approaches include trauma-informed, client-centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for those who have experienced abuse, trauma, depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, family conflicts, and issues with parenting, self-esteem, boundaries, and healthy communication. I have provided individual and group counseling to residential and outreach clients as well as supervised other counselors and student interns within an agency setting.
I have worked with clients on the spectrum, depression, anxiety, family conflicts, eating disorders, life transitions, relationship issues, and parenting. My work experience on a group foster care ranch, discipleship counselor, and program director for a DV and SA agency support my work as a counselor in areas of parenting, discovering values and beliefs that motivate us, and practical implementation of acquired skills.
I am ready to meet you where you are and share your journey to where you want to be.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She was the missing piece to my healing
I appreciated the way she listened. She gave ideas and always tried to understand where I was coming from. Thank you so much, Patti!
Mrs.Mallow listens to all my concerns. She helps me when I need a good input and different point of views in what my issues are. gives me different exercises to practice when they are needed. I’m very happy with the therapy out come and my family sees the difference in the help she has given me .
She listened to me. Gave me tips and methods to address my situation. I applied them and I was able to see the situation from a different perspective. That gave me peace and helped me to not let the situation controlled me.
I was so lost and felt helpless but Patti has been my saving grace.

Patti is great!
Patti has been very helpful with CBT techniques. My anxiety has improved immensely since I began seeing her. She is always punctual, remembers details of what's going on in my life, and truly cares. Highly, highly recommend.
Patti is extremely thoughtful and encouraging, provides a comfortable environment in which to discuss even very difficult subjects, and is exactly what I needed in a therapist.

Patti is very response and sends me additional material to help me make progress
I am new to therapy, but have had a wonderful experience with Patti. She is a great listener and has given me a lot of space to discuss various challenges in my life. And she’s provided great feedback and observations throughout.
Patti gets me and understands my concerns. She gives me tools that have been helpful and work for me. She is a great listener and I generally appreciate her.
Patti is a very compassionate therapist who is very clearly versed in abusive relationships. She has helped me navigate a very difficult time in my life when all seemed lost and I felt trapped by the person I loved most, and she will forever have my gratitude for that.
Patti Mallow is an amazing therapist. I wasn’t sure what exactly I needed, but she is such a great listener and has such a broad wealth of knowledge that she helped me figure it all out. I have a long way to go, but her approach has me already feeling so much more confident and less hopeless about my future. I look forward to hearing her insight during our weekly meetings and appreciate her gentle repetitiveness on things that I clearly have not grasped yet. She has such a great attention to detail and doesn’t make me feel rushed in finding my words. I couldn’t be more appreciative of Ms. Mallow.
She remembers every single detail even if it’s from weeks ago. She’s very helpful and listens. I feel so much better. Thank you so much ❤️
Only had 2 sessions with Patti, but they were both great experiences being my first time with any sort of therapy. The only reason I stopped is because I'm leaving the country for work and don't have a very stable internet connection to be able to communicate or continue. I will be resuming upon my return and hopefully will be paired with her again.
She’s my first ever therapist and I didn’t know what to expect while enrolling for therapy. But she’s awesome and therapy kind of seems fun. Listens and gives me actionable advice.
