I have worked with a few different therapists on BetterHelp over the last couple of years. Majeed is a phenomenal therapist and by far the best. He is understanding, patient, and thoughtful. His passion and dedication show in the way in which he addresses concerns and issues thoroughly and kindly. I cannot recommend Majeed more highly.

I was hesitant at first about having a male therapist because all of my previous therapists were women. Immediately, I felt completely at ease with Majeed. He is warm, friendly, respectful, kind, knowledgeable, and really passionate about people being able to find success and happiness through working on themselves. Having such an amazing therapist is so validating and he has helped heal some of my internalized traumatic fear of men with both his therapeutic approach and by just being an amazingly wise and supportive therapist.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

When I first came on here, I was matched with a therapist that wasn't really the right fit. I thought I'd give it one more try before giving up on Better Help and I'm happy I did. Majeed Abu Nimer understands the cultural aspects that play a huge role in my life. He listens, understands, and offers great tools to work through challenges. I am glad I gave this another chance and absolutely recommend him.

Makes has been incredibly helpful. Concrete, relevant strategies are st the core of each session, and he’s very direct but very warm. I’m enjoying the experience.

I have only had 2 sessions with Majeed Abu Nimer so far, but I can comfortably say he is wonderful. He truly seems to care about helping me understand myself, my trauma, and how to work through it. He is the first therapist I have worked with that is challenging me to get to the root cause of my unhealthy behaviors, and work on myself outside of my relationships with others. I feel encouraged and supported to make positive change.
