Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Deloris is honestly the best therapist I've ever had. She listened to my concerns and history without judgement and made a game plan with me for what would work best for me. I never had that before, I needed the guidance since I was still struggling with hitting a wall in my therapy and Deloris didn't even hesitate when I explained this. She's very flexible if anything comes up as well as if you need to change how we do our session last minute if I'm not feeling 100%. She holds you accountable too if you know how to help yourself and you take a few steps back in your growth which is exactly what I need. She reminds me what we've talk about before if I get extremely anxious to help me get back on track.

I have a very bad experience with mental health professionals and I honestly wasn't expecting any different when I came to BetterHelp and met Deloris. Needless to say, I ate crow aka I was so very wrong to think that way. Deloris and I only talked 3 times but in those 3 sessions she helped me a lot. I was shocked when she wasn't like the rest and she was actually a good theripest. I appreciated that she didn't judge me like I have been before by other professionals, she didn't try to tell me what to do or that I was a bad person. She didn't make me feel shameful for my life decisions and she completely understood me. She is amazing and I wish I could have told her goodbye. She needs to be recognized as an amazing person and theripest! Thank you so much Deloris for your time! You rock!
