Tom is easy to talk to and I feel no pressure.
Out of most of the therapist's I've found within Better help, it has been nothing BUT a stressful journey finding a therapist until one that clicks. He is my first ever male therapist and I do not feel uncomfortable. I've so far had only 2 sessions with Tom, but we continuously keep in touch during the week though texts. Tom is respectful, fully responsive, genuine and kind. He is very insightful and he ACTUALLY sends a reaspons not a quick text saying, "How does this make you feel?" Like I've recieved in the past. Most therapist I've came across never utilized the text message help, he does. He takes the time to read it and is open and honest by saying, "If I don't get back to you right away, know that I'm busy and I will." I'm aware our time zones are different but he is punctual with our sessions, he is prompt on responding to my messages when he is able, and it makes me feel heard, respected and understood. I value those things in a therapist. He is great with comforting me in stressful moments and talking me down from the "ledge" of my struggles. I look forward to seeing the improvement on my life/mental health journey and how he assists me to overcome these obstacles.
