Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Attentive. He listens well and really tries to understand your subjective world and what’s going on and offers insight and reflection as well as tools and ideas.
Good dude, good conversationalist
Matthew has connected patiently and consistently with where I'm at. he listens to my goals and has helped shape strategies to help me get there.
Matthew Dougherty is fantastic and helped me a lot. I tried other therapists prior to him and wasn't confident in any, but once I was paired with him I started making a lot of noticeable progress.
I only spoke briefly with Matt but he seems a warm hearted, caring and understanding person. His focus was to help me move forward with my goals. I don't know him much but I would still recommend him.
I had a great experience, he’s very profesional.
We've only had one session so far as I have been busy with work overtime. But our first session and follow up has been a strong start.
