I am an Integrative Counsellor and started my private practice in the UK in 2019. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, grief & loss, abuse & trauma, gender dysmorphia, body dysmorphia, ADHD, OCD, CPTSD and DID.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I believe my approach is slightly different from standard therapeutic practitioners, I don't use jargon and I certainly won't ask you the standard 'and what has brought you to therapy today' phrase! I will use a client centred approach, focusing on core beliefs, intrusive thoughts, childhood relationships & how they impact you now, plus many other areas of your life, that you feel are holding you back from enjoying your world. I will tailor our dialog and interventions to meet your unique and specific needs.
I offer space to review our work together after every session or however often you like. If there is anything that I am doing that you are not happy with or visa versa something you would like me to do that I am not doing, please feel free to bring it up.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. Inge is the first therapist with whom I’ve actually enjoyed therapy. I’ve tried a dozen times previously at different stages in my life, but Inge and I immediately clicked—mostly due to her warmth and conversational approach. She picks up on and remembers things that I would have assumed were useless. She’s honestly fantastic. It’s like talking to a trusted friend.
Inge is very kind and helpful. She is good at asking the right questions when I don't understand where my feelings stem from. I think she's very flexible with time/method for our talks, to find the best fit for me.
Inge provides therapy across all platforms and doesnt pressure you to only use Video. She listens, asks open questions, helps you to find the answers to your problems. Gives advice on how to combat your issues and tools on how to cope in the future. Would 100% recommend her.
I love Inge! She helps me a lot with my endless worries and troubled thoughts. I’ve been unable to identify what’s wrong with myself until i talked with her.
