I am an experienced Humanistic Psychotherapist/Counsellor registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Fully DBS checked, insured and practice in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.

Clients whom I have worked with presented with a wide range of issues for which they sought support. The following list is by no means exhaustive but it is a representation of my main experience which includes working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges and bereavement. I also helped many people who have experienced physical and/or psychological trauma and emotional abuse.

My aim is to empower and align individuals with their highest authentic self. Supporting them to have clarity in their direction and be at peace with themselves whilst achieving their goals.

My practice is formed by the innate belief that humans can heal and grow limitlessly given certain conditions are provided in our therapeutic relationships.

I have 10 years plus of personal and continuing professional development and experience in the context of therapy, complimented by my life’s experiences and insights.

I am passionate about providing support to others in the times of their life when they feel they need / desire it. My counselling practice is based on the foundations of compassion, acceptance, truth and a universal love for the planet and life.

Self-love is necessary, it is not a luxury and everybody has the right to know, speak and love themselves. I will support you to Be You.

Although I initially had my doubts about the effectiveness of online therapy, this has worked out very well in terms of convenience for my schedule, particularly when I'm on a work trip and still want to maintain my weekly session. As an expat, it was particularly important for me to have an English native speaker as a therapist. Elizabeth has been my therapist for about 8 months now. She is supportive and kind, and I never feel judged during our sessions. I never feel as though she's looking at the clock to cut off our session when the time is up, and she always confirms with me that I'm at an emotionally good place to stop our sessions. I can definitely recommend her!

I had tried therapy a couple of times in the past, but it didn’t stick until I started doing sessions with Lizzie. She is a wonderful therapist and person - I felt very comfortable with her from the beginning and she expertly walks the line between being personable and professional. If you are looking for a therapist who is totally non-judgmental, approaches anything you bring with empathy and who celebrates your wins and helps you reframe your ‘losses’, I couldn’t recommend Lizzie enough.

Lizzie helped me come back to myself. She somehow managed to create a space where I felt heard, seen and safe to talk honestly, without judgement. In this space, I was able to work through my trauma and the narratives I had developed which were keeping me stuck and very sad. She made me feel validated and empowered enough to begin challenging my limiting beliefs and to see the light again - to feel like I am worthy and I am able to do things differently. Lizzie has honestly been everything and more I could have hoped for in a therapist. I came to her four weeks ago in a total funk and she met me with so much empathy, compassion and also practical tips and coping strategies. Her expertise and deftness at explaining scientific concepts to do with mental health coupled with her ability to translate for the layperson (ie me, the least scientifically minded person possible) has been a total revelation for me. I couldn't recommend her highly enough - I am already feeling so much better and couldn't have done it without her help.

I didn’t have much confidence in therapy as I’d done it a few times before but talking to Lizzie has been amazing, she’s so understanding and kind and so human, she doesn’t give lip service or talk in riddles she just says it as it is while encouraging you to understand yourself. She talks about the science and psychology to help you understand what’s going on in your head and she listens to everything so she can link up possibilities of why you think the way you do. I couldn’t recommend her more she’s brilliant :)
