I am an integrated psychotherapeutic counsellor and use a variety of models depending on the issues you might bring to therapy. This includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) - (a similar form of CBT using rational thoughts to look at thinking), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Approaches, Person Centred Approach and the Gestalt Approach. I was in a very hard moment in my life overwhelmed by complicated situations that were happening at the same time and Anaisa helped me incredibly by teaching me tools to cope with them. I had been to 3 therapists before starting with Betterhelp and none had been able to help me the way Anaisa did, I felt very comfortable talking about everything that was tormenting me, from my queer perspective I felt very open to talk about my problems in romantic relationships. It also helped me a lot to learn about boundaries which helped me to improve my relationships with my family and friends.
So far, this has been my fourth week with Anaisa, and I've had a very positive experience. I feel very calm and relaxed when I talk with her, and I somehow feel like I can truly open up and share my feelings. Her sessions are great, and she always tries to illustrate my emotions in different situations with examples that help me understand the underlying causes. This makes a real difference, as I'm able to comprehend what's happening much better. Her methods are excellent, and she has recommended a few that I'm currently implementing. Overall, I highly recommend Anaisa for anyone new to therapy. She is very welcoming, and the best thing is that she truly listens and understands you.

Anaisa cared about my well-being and showed interest during our (always punctual) therapy sessions. She usually has a lot of energy, and always remains professional and respectful. Regarding her advice or opinions, I liked that she was upfront while remaining humble, respectful, and listening to my feedback on them. She kept a decent track of all the issues and topics I brought up in our ~5 months of sessions, and she was understanding when I needed to take a break in the platform due to financial reasons. I appreciate that she checked my situation regularly outside our weekly sessions in case I needed to be read/heard on the platform (even if sometimes I was not able to reply to her for X or Y reasons). Moreover, she was flexible when i needed to switch languages between Spanish and English depending on the situation around me in our video sessions.

Well, I like my therapy section with Anaisa simply because she listens and empathise with you. At the same she sends messages to check on you on how you are faring with the solutions she offers.
Even tho Anaisa was my therapist for only two months, she helped me a lot and always made me feel valid, she gave me hope. The only reason she’s not my therapist anymore is because I have to cancel my subscription otherwise I would have loved to continue this journey with her.
I would say Anaisa is the best therapist I have had out of 4 experiences using Betterhelp over the years - possibly the best even including other offline therapists. I have never once felt judged, even when some judgement would seem a reasonable reaction to my sometimes repetitively inexplicable and unhelpful behaviour, equally she has not hesitated in bluntly asking me if I can simply view a given situation in a more positive light, when it is needed. Her assessment of the kind of perspective I need to hear in response to a fairly volatile range of different psychological states from my own end seems to be strangely accurate and almost infallible so far, I have never once not felt better after talking to her. I am not sure what else I can add but I could not thank her enough if I tried and could not recommend her highly enough to anyone else.
