Chrysoula is helping me navigate some of my personal challenges and I feel she is providing me a safe environment where I can be in touch with myself without fear of rejection. Even if the things we discuss can at times be painful, she facilitated the process with understanding and respect.

I am a qualified psychologist and psychodynamic psychotherapist. My training began in 2008 with a BSc in Psychology at the University of Manchester. A psychology degree in the United Kingdom encompasses a generalist training that equips the psychologist to assist a wide range of people. Since then, I have completed two qualifications at Master’s level, a Master’s degree in Psychology of child development and a UK-based counselling training in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy at the University of Leicester. Obtaining these qualifications has involved years of therapy, of supervised clinical practice and working with a range of psychological difficulties.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
