Lynsey is an excellent listener and I find her very easy to talk to.

Lynsey was the balance of the listening ear and thought invoking I needed after a troublesome time. Lynsey was on hand to guide me through what was probably already in my subconscious, and able to relate through real life experiences, which helped me realise my issues were not uncommon. I'd highly recommend Lynsey.

Hi I'm Lynsey! Based in Northern Ireland, I am an Integrative Counsellor, using Humanistic, CBT and Psychodynamic approaches. I am an Accredited member of the BACP.

As a wife, mum and daughter, I understand how life can get on top us. In these busy and unprecedented times, we can get stressed by trying to cope, or feel overwhelmed and down when we can't cope. I'm here to support - not judge, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and though I am mature, I am young at heart.

I have worked privately for a number of years, offering support to those with low mood, depression, anxiety, family issues, survivors of narcissistic personality disorder, grief and bereavement, relationship and family problems, sexual abuse, future uncertainty, burnout, LGBTQ+, confidence and self-esteem issues etc.

I provide a safe environment and offer respect and confidentiality, where clients can freely explore and express their fears and concerns.

I bring high ethical standards to my working, safeguarding structures and will guarantee further research if ever necessary.

Please remember - it's good to talk.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
