I have only had 2 sessions with her this far, but she has seemed to already understand major parts of my life that I need to work on and encouraged me in the gentlest of ways to focus my attention on those things. I am confident she will guide me through these times and truly helps me to become better. She seems very happy to help even with scheduling issues

I’m Kate, a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor who believes that you are capable of achieving realistic goals in life if you really want to – and that psychotherapeutic counselling can help you achieve this.

My career started in Human Resources, working with individuals and groups to resolve personal and workplace problems through mediation, coaching and counselling. It was during this time that I realised two things: 1) that I enjoyed helping people overcome their individual problems and 2) that I was really good at it.

I then put all that experience to good use by training in a range of therapeutic approaches including Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy.

By bringing together my counselling skills, HR expertise, a non-judgemental approach and an empathic awareness of others, I can offer an approach that’s tailored to my client’s specific needs.

What am I like to work with? I’m warm, down to earth and approachable and can work with a range of issues including, anxiety, depression, addictions, phobias, abuse, eating issues, emotional difficulties, self-esteem, confidence, relationship difficulties, relaxation and stress.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

It's not magic it's just done the right way by a professional! Kate will help you get a better understanding of your feelings and where they come from, tools will also be provided so you can then navigate the feelings you suddenly understand. What you then do with that depends on your own wishes which Kate also will aid you in! 10/10
