Hi.

My name is Krystyna. I am a Counsellor & Psychotherapist who helps people who have experienced traumatic life events to break free from fear (anxiety) and build happy, full of contentment lives. I am fluent in English and Polish and I am confident to work in either language. As a fully qualified and experienced Counsellor & Psychotherapist (I completed my Degree at the Greenwich University in London). I can work effectively in a short-term solution-based therapy; (up to twelve sessions) or an open-ended counselling, whereby the sessions are paced in line with clients' needs and readiness to embrace positive changes.

During a counselling session, I look to form a strong professional relationship with my clients; based on trust and firm boundaries. We would work together to understand the roots of your symptoms and their impact in your life. This new awareness will help us to choose a suitable approach to better manage or even fully relieve your symtomps.

Recovery is only possible with clients’ permission – when they are ready to safely let go of the symptoms and work their way out towards freedom - you chose the pace and I will support you when you walk Your Path. I have built a really strong rapport with Krystyna over the last couple of months and I always leave my sessions feeling empowered and with a clearer mind. She understands me and I can really tell that she listens to me because she will remember things that I have said in previous sessions and be able to link it to what we are discussing in the current session. I found Krystyna so comforting and easy to talk to. I hugely appreciated the space she gave me to cry, babble away, offload and consider. She seemed to work magic somehow as without me really noticing any ‘tricks or techniques’ or me having to do homework/journaling etc she naturally guided me towards my own introspection and I have made such progress with the issues I brought to our therapy. I had 8 intensive sessions with Krystyna focusing on various difficulties in my life. She is my first ever therapist I never sought therapy before. I have a really aware character so I thought at least information-wise I didn't think the therapy would make a change yet every week she proved me wrong. Even if you are all over the place jumping from one topic to the other. She listens to you very carefully and keeps you on topic. She is a great listener and does not come to conclusions without thorough information. So more you give her more of the benefit of it that you see. I highly recommend as she is a true professional. I have been on a journey for a while trying to find the right therapist, never getting past 1-2 session because they just weren't for me, for many different reasons . I will always be so grateful for Krystyna!! She met me right where I was at, asked the right questions and helped me to see my situation from multiple angles (while very artfully going around barriers I put up). She was always so kind, understanding, and most importantly, gently honest.
