My therapeutic style is to offer a warmth and openness, and a safe space to explore what is impacting on you. I am not here to judge or advise you what to do. I offer a client-centred approach in counselling – which means your unique needs and struggles are the most important. I have helped many people through the counselling process and it is my hope that through counselling you can find a way forward.

I am a counselling psychotherapist and psychologist with over 10 years of experience working as a counsellor and specialist mental health mentor. I work with people from all walks of life with a range of struggles; personally, professionally, and mentally. These include depression and anxiety, bereavement and loss, relationship issues, significant childhood events, such as bullying or parenting issues, work-related stress, and self-confidence. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma and domestic violence; both physically and emotionally. I have experience of working with people who have an autistic diagnosis, ADHD and dyspraxia/dyslexia so I am able to support people with additional needs. I am an Accredited (experienced) member of the British Association of Counselling Psychology (BACP) which ensures my practice is ethical and professional. It would be my privilege to support you in this next step of therapeutic change and healing through counselling.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
