I would just like to thank Emma so much from the bottom of my heart for her help, support and providing me with useful skills to help me get through what has been a truly life changing time in my life. I really don't think I could have got through it without Emma's help.

I believe Emma is a very good example of what a human should be like. She will remember EVERYTHING you have talked about in the last sessions. She will ALWAYS show up in time, and she will always warn you if she can't show up. She is ABSOLUTELY hilarious, in the most professional way there could be, it helped me so much to connect with her, trust her, and heal. She treated me like a human, when my family and friends never really do, and she made me believe that I'm worth it. Every session, I would be surprised by the amount of respect and lack of judgment she provides. Tops all therapists I ever had by A LOT.

Hello and Welcome, thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Emma and I am a fully qualified counsellor, specialising in anxiety and depression. I have a Bsc in Psychology and a Fdsc in Counselling. What does that mean? I have spent ten plus years studying the mind and how that can impact on our behaviour.

Nothing has tested our mental health more than the last two years (mine included!) from isolation, and being deprived social interaction. Maybe now you feel anxious socialising, whereas pre covid, you never experienced such anxiety. Whether you have just began to not feeling like "you" or have felt like this for some time, I am here to help.

I offer safe and non judgemental counselling to help you start feeling like you again. I work in a way that works best for you, promoting autonomy every step of the way.

Investing in your mental health is the best investment you can ever make.

Emma

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Emma has been amazing! Wow has she made me see things from a different perspective, and made me love and trust myself again! She was able to help me articulate why I felt I needed therepy (which was a tough start to it) but in doing so unlocked a lot of what I was struggling with! I love my maintenance plan which she helped me to develop and I have found her so easy to talk to and open up to. I would 100% recommend Emma to anyone she has made this huge step so worthwhile!

Working with Emma has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I can confidently say she has significantly improved how I view life and situations. In just a short space of time she helped me reframe my perspective to enable me to work through problems/ experiences I went through. Emma is an extremely kind and compassionate person who always creates a safe space to talk about any topic. I’m extremely greatful to have had Emma as my therapist and would highly recommend her service to anyone in need.

Emma listens carefully when I talk and reads things between the lines that I have never noticed myself. In the process, she helps me to understand a lot about myself and gives me tools that I can use in my everyday life to transfer what has been discussed. I have had therapy before, but I have rarely felt so well taken care of. Thanks Emma!
