I have been able to use my skills in different settings such as a mental health institution, an addiction treatment center, foster care and adoption agencies, and an adolescent group home. I am passionate about bringing hope and healing to individuals and families.
I am certified in Trust-Based Relational Intervention®, and I was a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor for 2 years. I utilize a client-centered and strengths based approach to therapy. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include, cognitive-behavioral, psycho-educational, trauma-informed, attachment theory, mindfulness, and story engagement. I am fascinated and deeply moved by each individual’s story from beginning to end. I enjoy “connecting the dots” to how our past experiences affect our mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual behaviors, both healthy and unhealthy. Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She’s helpful and peaceful and professional!
I was never someone who thought therapy would be necessary. I’m high-achieving, happy, executive but my lifestyle doesn’t allow for a lot of friendships. For those that I have, I try not to spend our time hashing out work or personal stuff. I knew I wanted to talk to someone about my life but I had no idea how much I *needed* this time! For me, it was crucial to have someone that understood the life of a corporate executive, as well, as the personal stuff that life throws at all of us. I look forward to my time with Dru every week. For me, she’s part therapy and executive sounding board. We talk about whatever is on my mind that week—difficult employees, challenging family, health issues, you name it. She’s helped me through the diagnosis of a rare disease, the insanity of my career, and most importantly communication with my family. I’m so glad to have been matched with her from the beginning.
Dru is amazing. She listens and really understands my needs and expectations from therapy!
Great therapist
Dru is amazing! This was my first time trying therapy, and I was honestly very skeptical. After my first session with Dru, that hesitancy immediately went away! I appreciate how she makes me feel seen and heard! While I know she’s on my side, I also appreciate that she doesn’t hesitate to call out my wrongs as well. She’s not one sided and helps me look at situations from multiple perspectives while offering the necessary support. Since starting therapy with her, I am much more aware of my feelings, triggers, etc. and have learned ways to communicate more effectively. There is so much more I could say, but in all I just want to thank her for being awesome!
She is wonderful. I’ve had lots of therapy in the past and didn’t think she would have anything else to offer but she did. Wonderful
Dry is great. I would highly recommend her!
She is the best
Dru is very kind, compassionate, and understanding. I throughly enjoy working with her.
Listens attentively and gives the advice I need to hear not what I want to hear.

I’ve only had one live session so far but she was absolutely wonderful! Never felt so cared for! I felt like I actually had a voice!
Very easy to talk to! Gives you ways of thinking/processing situations and emotions that are easy to understand and help! Highly recommended!
I appreciate working with Dru so much! She takes the time and attention to find informational articles and worksheets to help with the topic at hand. I feel seen and listened to!
