Hello and welcome. My name is Data Sophia Arthur-Uchendu. Please call me Sophia. I help adults, whether young or older adults, using Pluralistic Psychotherapy. Because one size does not fit all, my approach aims to keep you at the fore of everything so you can get straight to what the underlying problems are, no matter your background or peculiarities and what those problems might be. I will use modalities as you need them; I approach your matters wholly with an unconditional positive regard. My practise is highly trauma informed and I combine this with a healthy dose of psychoeducation. Much of my experience has been in evidence based practise using Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT) so I will use this to your benefit without negating the significance of the life's journey you've had till this point.
I am licensed and accredited in the UK with years of professional work experience. I work with individuals and couples including people having relationship issues in family, friendships, sibling relationships and so on. This work could also be in a group. I also work very keenly with people experiencing anxiety, depression, late teen/young adult issues, men issues, family conflicts, faith based conflicts, trauma and abuse, & coping with grief and loss using a varied range of modalities all tailored to fit each unique client. I welcome clients seeking Christian faith based therapy.
Life can be complicated just by itself so seeking therapy, to ease the ever presenting complications, is a big step in the right direction. I am committed to going on this journey with you. Again, welcome.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Sophia helped me work through a lot of topics and offered strategies to help me deal with a lot of things. I appreciate all her help, guidance and support
This is my first time doing therapy and I was very anxious about what to expect and if this therapist would be a fit for me. I was connected with Dr. Sophia and I am very happy with the sessions so far. It has really helped me focus on the right things and she is a great listener. I really feel like I am in a safe space to talk about anything. I would definitely recommend her.
She has been so helpful in understanding what I have been through, helping me to make sense of it all and teaching me the skills to deal with it. Truly an amazing therapist!
Such a great session! Got epiphanies about myself I haven't gotten anywhere else, even though I've been in therapy for 6 years. Truly recommend!
Really good therapist, coming from an anxious person that isn’t the best at expressing feelings, she is making me become more and more open. Very good listener, she gives me clarity and confidence in how to approach things. I feel amazing after each session
Sophia is very good at her job. She is understanding and she makes therapy really easy. I had no problem opening up to her because it felt I was conversing with a friend than with a professional therapist.
Sophia is very good listener and is very supportive. I always looked forward to our sessions as she always provided me with very useful feedback and i felt so much better after speaking to her.
Helped me through a lot, definitely a good listener and let you know more about yourself, how are you feeling and how to deal with it.
Professional, she was attentive to the smallest details and gave me the right advice, friendly with a warm voice, she made me understand and see things clearly from the very first session.
Sophia is so understanding and she makes me feel seen. She never seen has a judgemental tone and I feel at ease talking to her. She has a vast range of expertise in this field and can often suggest helpful practices to help me deal with certain issues. I’m so glad I met her and I feel like my mental health has massively improved after sessions with her.
Sophia has helped me immeasurably. Three months of sessions with her has been transformative - I will forever be grateful for the help and support I’ve received. I’m pausing sessions for now as I feel that I have overcome what I initially came to therapy to achieve but I will be picking up sessions with her again as and when needed. Sophia has given me the tools to overcome issues that have been troubling me and I now have the confidence and awareness to put it all into action. Sophia has helped me with my self esteem, confidence, communication skills, relationship attachment issues, and the ability to reflect. Thank you so much!
Sophia is a very patient and intelligent therapist. She has helped me deal with a variety of different problems, she seems to be able to offer advice on many different subjects. Also, I trust her expertise and integrity completely. I always feel more grounded after a session with Sophia.
Only had a few sessions so far and I’m still getting used to the process but Sophia has been great at helping me recognise habits and understand how to help myself become better
Sophia has helped me cut through to the point, work with new cognitive tools to get out of unhelpful patterns, and has reminded me I am courageous and okay, just how I am.
