Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Karen has been a wonderful help over the last few months and has managed to help me go from being at my lowest point in years to feeling well enough to return to work in a relatively short period of time. Her guidance and support has been invaluable. Karen is very personable and friendly and makes you feel like you matter. It never felt like I was speaking to a therapist/Councillor, more like a friend which really helped me open up. I couldn't recommend Karen enough! She is great asset to have in your corner helping you and a massive asset to betterhelp! If all of the Councillors are as good as Karen, there would be no need to go elsewhere for mental health support. It's been worth every penny to feel normal again. Thanks Karen

Karen has been a great help to me over the last few weeks, helping me understand my mental health issues and we are progressing with my recovery well. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone who needs someone to not only give advice and support but someone who actively listens and allows you to talk and get things out. It has been a very positive experience despite my mental health issues. Thank you Karen.
