More about Seba

  • 8 years' experience
  • Female
  • BACP, NCPS

I have been working as a psychotherapist in private practice, with clients with neurodiversity since 2016. I also work for a women's charity in the perinatal team with women that are pregnant and have babies under 1 year.

I qualified in psychodynamic therapy and CBT, so my background is in that area. However, I use an integrative style as I have developed my practice over the years. My training and supervision have helped me to develop over the years, this has been helpful for my clients because I can use a range of modalities. This is called integrative therapy. I use strategies that are helpful for the client I am working with.

I am a BACP registered member and NCS registered member. I am also a qualified supervisor with a post graduate in clinical supervision.

I specialise in neurodiversity and (ADHD and Autism) and my clients range in age from 10/11 to any age of adult. Clients will come to me for a range of reasons, but often because of my knowledge of ADHD and Autism. If they are thinking about going for a diagnosis, they might come to see me prior and post assessment, as well as for support with their neurodiversity.

I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, relationship issues, phobias, and/or generally feeling stuck in life.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
